Free Estimate : Please contact MCADD to receive a detailed list of information needed from you before your project can be started. A Free written estimate is provided upon request. The estimate will be for the time involved in drawing your plans from the information you have supplied. If you decide to add more to your project or change the design in any way after starting your project then the first estimate becomes invalid. Remember, MasterCAD Designs charges by the hour so, if you decide to change your design it may cost more because of the extra time involved with the changes. So please, send me the most information you can on what you want drawn before I begin your project. This way you get an accurate estimate right from the start. Miscellaneous Services : Free Internet Posting : MasterCAD Designs internet posting service is free. It takes time to convert the drawings from the CAD program and place them on the internet. This service is free. A gift to you for choosing MCADD to draw your floor plans. Other drafting firms have to hire an html programmer for this service then ultimately charge you for it. But with MCADD this internet posting service is free. Since there is such a low overhead to operate my internet business, I can pass the savings back to you. I am very talented and well practiced in architecture. My drafting skills out surpass the price that I charge. Meaning, you cannot find this quality drafting at this price anywhere in the world. I will always draw your plans in a professional manor. Plus, the dimensions on your plans will always be 100% accurate to the scale given on each sheet. By the way, each completed plan is fully dimensioned so your contractor will not have to scale the drawings. I also offer my drafting services for charity. Please contact. me for information. can be used for reference during the
construction
phase of your home and can be used to get permits for commercial
applications.
All Licensed Log Home Manufactures need at least
the
Basic
Plans that I offer to build your custom Log Home. I know you can get your "stick built" plans done elsewhere for much less. But usually there is a 3 year waiting list and their draftsman do not have the extensive architectural training and the amount of experience that I have. Plus, with MasterCAD Designs I can begin your custom project this week and can be completed in less than 8 weeks from start. Besides hardly ever do the plans I design cost over $1,000.00. You cannot find that kind of design turn around anywhere at that price. So when you are ready to get started please contact me. Contractor Special rates : If you are a licensed builder and would like to have a highly skilled draftsman on your design team then contact me.
Special Service Rate : Please contact me for a quote. MasterCAD Designs will draw these Special Service items when needed : Decks, Handicapped Ramps, Porches, Garages, Barns, Interior Elevations, Reflected Ceiling Plans, Reflected Soffit Plans, Swimming Pools, Spa's, Hot Tubs, Saunas, Landscape Plans, Elevators, Furniture Plans, 3d modeling, 3d interior or exterior perspectives, 3d color renderings, landscape designs, parking lot striping, retaining walls, Details and or Elevations, Heating Location, Plumbing Location, Electrical Outlet Location, Room finish Schedule, Door & Window Schedules (window and door descriptions), Floor Framing Location Plans, Roof Framing Location Plan, Fireplace Enlarged plans, Fireplace Sections and Fireplace Details + more. I have been designing residential homes and commercial structures for over 10 years now. You can be assured that your plans will be done quickly and error free. I can design anything you want big or small I design them all, even projects as small as a custom mailbox. Extra Services Hand Drawn Look : For those who like the "hand drawn look", I offer to do this service. MCADD's "hand drawn look" will still maintain the accuracy of being computer drawn and all dimensions will still be 100% accurate to scale, guaranteed. Please let me know if you would like your plans to have that hand drawn look before beginning your project. If I am not notified at the beginning of your project then it may take longer when converting your project to a hand drawn look. Extra Set of Prints : Your Log Home Manufacturer is going to need prints for the electrician, plumber, heating and cooling, sub contractors etc. MasterCAD Designs offers extra sets at an additional cost. If you would like full rights to your plans then please purchases the DXF package described below. If you would like to make unlimited copies of your plans then please purchase package three described below. If you just need one set then do nothing and I will bill you for one set of plans. If at a later time you decide you need more sets then I will be happy to print the extra sets out for you. Own Copyrights : For an additional price MCADD can include your entire CAD project in DXFor DWG format, "package two", on a handy CD. By purchasing the digital file you own full copyrights to your drafting project. You may distribute the digital file to any contractor so they may add structural, mechanical, heating, electrical or plumbing information. Or you can have me design those plans. With the digital file your engineer can change the design to fit their specifications exactly. You may also use your digital file later, say 20 years from now, if you ever decide to put an addition. Your digital file can be given to your new draftsman, hopefully me, and you will not have to pay them to draw up the existing plans of your home. Owning your own digital file means you will never have to pay for your plans to be drawn again. Plus, you can sell the professional looking plans in a digital file to the new owners if you ever decided to sell your new log home. Please note in order to use the digital file some basic CAD, computer skills and a compatible CAD program that can open your digital file is required. AutoCAD, DataCad, or other drafting programs. If a digital file is not purchased then MCADD will hold complete copyrights to your digital file. Copyrights & printable PDF files : For an additional price you can get printable PDF files, "package three", of your completed project on a CD. The CD will contain every sheet of your prints in PDF format and your complete CAD project in DXF format. Each sheet used to make up your set of plans can be printed out at any time anywhere across United States or elsewhere without penalties. The sheets can also be viewed in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The PDF files may be send to your heating, electrical or plumbing engineer for printing. Please note that these PDF files can only be viewed and printed. MCADD recommends the latest free version of Adobe Reader for reading the PDF files. Note: The DXF file can be used for printing but some CAD experience is required. The PDF files can be printed upon any size sheet but will not be to scale when printing on sheets other than 24"X 36". The PDF files can be purchased without having to own full rights to your drafting project - see below - . Printing - for package one and two : For package one and
two, The first
purchased set of plans will
be
sent to you or, if you like, any log home
manufacturer of your choice. The manufacturer will contact you with
their
estimate on the construction costs of your new log home. If the owner
wishes to purchase
another
set of plans there is an extra fee per set (see below) and possibly
a shipping charge. If
you would like you can choose the log home
manufacture or contractor and MCADD will send them your plans when your
project is complete. If you want to use your own construction
team then please contact MCADD prior to project
completion so other arrangements can be made.
MCADD is always happy to serve all Log House Manufacturers and/or
contractors. Floor Plans that need to be done right away : As much as I hate to, projects with a short deadline will be subject to this overtime charge. (Time and a halfr for a deadline of 30 days or less. Special Services and Extra Services are also included for having a short deadline). Normally it takes me about 8 weeks to complete an average project so if you need your plans sooner than this then TELL me before I give you an estimate. If I am not told about a deadline for your project then I will assume there is no rush for your plans and I will work on your project as time allows. Also, if I start your project and later, get notice from you that you need me to rush on your project then you will see the short deadline charges on your invoice for the remaining time. Please give me a minimum of 8 weeks to complete your Custom Plans. Notice : large projects may take longer than 8 weeks.Payment Methods : Please make all

MCADD $500.00 down and remaining balance due on completion of your project. A down payment to Ron Kemp`s MasterCAD Designs means that you are agreeing to the tearms and conditions of my payment policy. The down payment also means that you agree to be issued an invoice upon project completion for services rendered on an hourly basis or $650.00, whichever is more. Package three PDF : optional, Same as package three but without prints. Save on shipping costs and MCADD printing fees for Extra Prints. Ask us for a quote when your project is done. Save BIG with this package. MCADD will draw up your Custom Plans and create PDF files of each sheet and place your entire project on one CD, then ship the CD directly to you. With the PDF files you can print out Extra Prints of your Custom Plans and own full copyrights to your project. With Extra Printed sets you can submit them to 6 or more log home manufacturers for multiple estimates. Multiple estimates means that you can get your new log home constructed at the lowest possible price. With package three you are in control of your printing and can print unlimited sets of your custom floor plans at any time. Or, see MCADD's Professional TurnKey Package below. By purchasing the DXF file MasterCAD Designs will relinquish all copyrights to you and you may alter the digital file in any way. Only upon purchase of the DXF file will you have the option to have your project removed from our Plans page or marked not for sale. If you purchase the DXF file your plans will forever be unique, one of a kind.
