1. Contact
Please
make
copies of all the information
you are
going to send to me. Contact me, to set up an appointment to
meet
with you, or arrange to have the information sent to me through the
mail if we cannot meet.
2.
Review
I will review your ideas and give
you an
estimate on how long it will
take to draw your Custom Plans. Go to the Price
page
to view what is included with your Custom Plans. A modest down
payment is
required before I will begin to draw your plans, (usually
$500.00 USD).
I will give you a written estimate if
you choose the
Professional Turnkey package only after I receive all the information about your
project.
3.
Drafting / Posting on PLANS page
I will draw your
custom plans and post them here from time
to time
for your
review, sometimes two times a week. If you were wondering what
line weights are represented by the colors of the lines of your plans
then check
out my line
weight color chart.
- Revising a Near Complete
Project :
If you decide to
change your
design towards the end of your project:
a. I will put your
project on hold.
b. I will send you an early invoice for the time involved on
your
project up to that point.
c. I will not continue on your project until
the invoice payment is received and a go ahead is given by
you to
continue with the proposed changes. At your request, I will
submit a new estimate on how long it will take to do the
revisions.
The reason for the early
invoice is to show you, the client, the cost of your plans up to that
point before
you decide to change the initial design. The drawings can become
quite complex after the exterior elevations are drawn. Sometimes,
depending on how
far along
your project has progressed, it can take longer to change your project
then it
would if I were to start all over from the beginning. If the
exterior elevations are
showing on your plan page then the project is almost done.
Towards
this
final phase in the drawings, it is impossible to change the design
without
having to change everything else.
4.
Final Approval
When
your
plans are done I
will post them here on the internet and label your plans as done.
After you approve of the
final
plans and have decided on how many prints and or package you prefer I
will send you a final invoice. Your invoice will be sent
to you either by e-mail or if you have no e-mail by Postal
Service. The
invoice will
show the
package you have chosen and a the drafting fee.
5.
Going to the Press
Finally
when I receive final payment, I will print out your drafting package
and
then send it to you. If you would like I can even send your plans
directly to
your
contractor(s) so they may bid on the construction phase of your
project.
New :
If you choose
the Turnkey package, construction
will not begin until you are satisfied with your plans and are ready to
go ahead with the construction project. Plus, the price of your
plans are included with your package so there are no hidden fees.
See my PRICES
page for custom floor plans.
